Hi I'm from Pennsylvania and I am taking a vacation to the outer banks in nc this summer. I have been there and know of dunes down there. I just wanna know if there are legal places to take my crf450r and ride somewhere. I'm going in the area of around duck, kitty hawk, and corolla. Around those places.

No. We vacation at the Outer Banks every summer. Typically we rent a house in Corolla. There is only on major bridge that feeds the Outer Banks and the island is very narrow in parts and quite built up. Your closest option is Elizabeth City MX (ECMX.com). It's a great sand track and we just had a LLQualifier race there. They are not open all the time so you need to check the web site and Facebook page to see what ride days are available. Another option that is further away is North Carolina Motorsports Park that is in Henderson NC just off of I-85. It is typically open 7 days a week and has a terrific motocross track, a supercross track and some beginner tracks. Also has woods riding if you are into that. Web site is NCMP.net and they also have a up to date Facebook page. Lastly there is Hog Heven off I-95. Hogheavenmx.com is their web page and also have a Facebook page. They are in Godwin NC.
