Doesnt matter how it looks. Using laptimes which are generally regarded as the measurement as to who actually went around the track the fastest, james wasnt. Yes he had traffic but there were several laps where there was several seconds between him and the next placed rider. James is a great racer, im not hating on him as hes a great guy and was very very nice to my boys at the races in arlington. Our whole family are fans of his but that doesnt mean hes the fastest on the track. If he can win this year it will be his best title imho due to the fact that this is the deepest field of racers i can remember following this sport for over 30 years. So far james, villopoto, reed, and roczen have all had the fastest laps in the main. When was the last season that so many riders had that potential.
