I've been helping out Curren since he was on 85's. Very quite and polite kid that is a product of public schools. Yet very aggressive on the track. Great parents that don's push him or live through him. Been to Loretta's for about the last 5-6 years. Finished 6th overall in 250 B last summer. Just moved to the "A" class a few weeks ago.

Unlike many fast Texans, he is a native.

Enjoy this video of Curren during the 2nd moto of the Texas Winter Series Pro Am at Freestone a couple of weeks ago in the 450 A class.

Curren is a bad dude and it has been a pleasure watching him race thru the years and I have only the best wishes for his future in the A class.

I had the pleasure of spending alot of time with Curren and his family. Great people, great rider.

Glad to see he is moving up the A class.

Great rider, but lost my respect when he fought his AMA advancement in after the 2012 season. No rider should ride 4 years in the same class, unless it is the premier class!

I get where you are coming from. But the kid did not make the ama system the way it is. He just has to play within the system. When you are fast enough to make it to the big show. You are much better off getting some titles in the B class then you are moving up and getting lost in the transition from B to A to Privateer. Many of those guys are never seen or heard from. There is a ton of kids that should of, could of, and maybe would of been big deals if they would of just gotten a shot on the right team. Also if you were mad because he was keeping your kid from winning. Well your kid will be much better off by racing against the faster competition and staying hungry.
