did fox sports 1 bring in a ton of money into the event? Because for those who were not there it was lightyears better than past sx.. as It actually felt modern.
1. Over hang camera i have never seen at a sx race before. It looked to be on pulley ropes or something (gibby may have more insight on this thing)
2. New finish line board.. which shows the top three, every lap as they cross the finish line (Very badass, as I wasn't really looking at the pylon board of the top 5 anymore) lol
3. A nice surprise of a hot lap, while being mic'd up. (seriously badass)
4. Show ran pretty damn smoothly.
5. Fireworks from the top of the stadium.. pretty effin cool.
I think all of the races are definitely going to be awesome for the fans.. Everything pretty much got a facelift in a positive way.
whoever it was, that thought of these simple but yet awesome updates needs a beer!

The overhead camera was on cables that spanned the entire outfield.
