Been looking at the GMC,CHEVY,Ram Van, & Econolines. Shorts and extended models.
Did some searching on mileage but was curious to how you guys were doing loaded with a few bikes and another person or two. Also what setup you are using.
Thanks in advance.

I get about 19 miles per gallon out of my 2000 GMC savanna cargo (extended) with a full load.

That's highway, through the mountains, averaging about 75-80 mph.

The best part is locking it up and not worrying about anything going missing at night. No windows and a divider behind the driver means nobody but me knows what's back there.

I get about 19MPG also, out of my 2002 Ford one ton(Extended)...

That's two bike's, Four people, one cooler and a bunch of gear and tool's..

Now, were talking on the highway, Flat highway, no mountian's, Hell, barley any hills, averaging 75-80 MPH... ( I wonder why everyone call's us flat lander's)???

The best part is when it rain's, everything stay's dry!!! It also seem's easier and quicker to load eveything in the van opposed to a truck.

You can also use it as a camper(That's what I did last weekend)... Every aspect of the van rock's!!!! Good luck..

How do you guys have them set up inside?
I would rather not have a short one but if I can get one cheap enough I will.
The mileage/storage and conviencience have me sold.
Plus I am keeping the s-10 for a daily driver.

If I could afford it I would have a sprinter. They can be set up as the ultimate race van. 25 mpg also.

Two luvered(SP?) rails on the side wall's. The bike's go on each side of the van and get strapped down. Everything else goes in the middle.

I got two captian chair's out of a mini van and put them behind the front seat's. It's very roomy.
