Shut off in middle of playing GTA 5...
Won't turn on, goes from Green to yellow to flashing red...Not happy!

Going to try this fix.

that sucks.

my 360 got the red rings after a couple months owning it. Microsoft took care of it and i haven't had an issue since (like 5 years).

I've had this PS3 since they came out, so I guess I got my moneys worth out of it.
It just sucks that it didn't last just a bit longer. Now I'm going to have to get a new PS3 for GTA 5 and the new MX game coming out since they won't have those games for the PS4.
I wanted to wait to get the 4 when they had more games for it.

i think you're making the right decision by waiting. you should be able to get a ps3 pretty cheap.

i'm holding out on getting a next gen as well, no need and way too much money right now.
