First time ever going to Unadilla and I had a blast! The track was insane and the racing was awesome to watch.
Looking up at Screw U this thing is a beast.

He was the life of the party on top of the bus for sure. And there was quite a few more parties that I saw in the parking lot while trying to get out. Let's just say there was a few that should have curtailed their drinking quite a few hours before. Me and the guys parked next to me got quite a show.Wink

Your top shot is the best perspective you can have, to show how steep that hill really is. Most, if not all motocross photos are too lazy to walk to the bottom for that shot Laughing

Thanks I had to walk down there just to see the sheer size of that thing. Sorry if some of the pics turned out crappy it was all with my phone.

I was listening to a podcast headed up there and they were talking about how big and steep scew U was and how the cameras do not do that thing any justice. They were not kidding it has to be a 45 degree angle I am guessing.

Unadilla deffinitely has the best pits after the races. Did you catch the drunk pit bike race in the back after the cops shut down the burnouts? That was somethin elseLaughing Tongue

tv and camera shots just don't do it justice. with how far ET was jumping down it in moto 2 i thought for sure he was going to shoot the berm/rut even with full lock on his breaks.

i LOVE that track, been going there off and on for closing in on 20 years. every race morning- when the mist is rising out of that valley it just feels semi spiritual to me.

kind of dislike a lot of the changes they've made that have taken away from the natural origins of the track to be honest. There are more jumps now and it's definitely more intricate but before it was all sculpted it really had the appearance of a spot on earth that was designed to have dirtbikes haul ass across it.

so goes the evolution of the sport i guess.
