Does it matter where you measure from? I was going to measure from the middle of the axle to a convenient spot on the fender. The manual says from the seatbolt to the chain adjuster bolt, but with the dual exhaust that isn't really practical. Recommended sag is 3.9 inches or 100mm...if I measure from a different spot on the bike than the manual will my measurements be different?

Short answer is no as long as you are measuring two points that are reasonably close to being in a vertical plane.
