MCM2 still alive ?

Man, you guys are bringing back some memories. If I had to define my youth years with one acronym it would be MCM2. I couldn't get enough of this game but once the Zone closed, I slowly lost hope. I ended up buying the game off ebay a few years later, but this was after the mcmfactory.com crash and all the old tracks were toast.

Slingshot was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Track. I remember how sick it was to come over the cross-over double, go right, and try to hit the quad-quad. SO SICK!

OMG ...I just stumbled across this thread. Lets get this game fired back up...haha Me and my brother used to be on team SX5FE ...any of you stilll out there ? How bout the RXR guys. My bro was "fastard" I was "sludgepup" ....I know I can get 3 or 4 guys to start playing again....That MXS game seems pretty cool but the learning curve is killing this old man...lol

Great to see ya Motox411. Welcome to the thread. Are you by any chance the same guy as MotoXXX41? By the way, Voobly is something you'll want to see if you're interested in firing the game back up, it's almost exactly like the old Zone.

yeah ..mcm2 was great..i was a reg. track designer for mcm1 and 2..making tracks for mcm1 was a pain....so many steps...fav mcm1 track was funky flyer...had dreams about that track....to bad what has happened to the mx game scene lately...where can you upload mcm2 tracks now?..i would upload some of my mcm2 tracks

i am not motoxxx41...i checked out voobly last couple days... unfortunately i didnt see anyone playing ...i burned tons of homemade tracks to cd when i decided to hang up the game...i just need to find them...lol....Still trying to decide if mx sim is worth the effort to learn...

I am starting a full scale effort in attempt to bring back online play. No it will never be like the good old Zone days. More like the present day Voobly days.

Right now we are small in numbers. I will be sending out e mails as to what time & tracks we will be running. This is just to get the fire lit. After awhile I am assuming that the game can & will stand on its own once again.

I have access to a server with 1800+ nats, and 1100+ SX tracks. These will be available shortly for download. More news on this later in e mails. I am working on a forum also.

Hope some of you hit me up with your e mail addys. Get in on the ground floor!

PS: I did get a stick. Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. So far I likeee...

Idk if anyone is even still following this thread, but I just found it and figured I'd make an account and say hi. I got bored and started searching the internet for anything about this game that occupied quite a few years of my life, and stumbled upon this. I know I had a blast creating a few custom tracks and they had seemed to be pretty well received... wonder if anyone knows if they're out there anywhere?

I haven't worked on the site in a long time, so it might not be cool for me to promise anything about finding and uploading anything you made. Have you lost your tracks, or do you still have them? Sorry green mcm2 only for me man. I have not tried sim yet, I don't have a machine that will run it. Im using a macbook pro with windows xp installed as a virtual machine right now. I talked to rocket about it, he tells me sim is awesome just takes some getting used to, I just cant get past mcm2 lol. Ive tried reflex on my desktop pc and its alright I just cant get the hang of it on the keyboard, maybe its funner with a game controller. One day when I get my desktop setup in a decent area (like a desk) maybe Ill give it a whirl. Until than its mcm2 or bust! lol

Man thats a long time ago that i saw somebody make a track for mcm2, im gonna give it a shot right now.
It's been a while since i played so im pretty sure its gonna be all pain and no glory for me, specially becouse im gonna try it while using a keyboard

Darn that Lucky 13 is a fast track, i sucked tho lol 1 minute and 45 seconds was my fastest.

1:23 on keys.... still havent tried it with stick

you can find it on e bay. it was released in 1998? or 2000? so it is now in reproduction, but the game is the same, just different packaging.

Are you guys racing online now on a regular bases? if so where and when? I have the game from way back and a couple of disks of tracks.
