Want to know something funny? In the '80s my dad used to put Armour All on our seats to make them shiny. lol

I did that once as a kid on my XR80. It looked sweet but it only took one ride before I learned to never do it again.

They help getting through ruts, and also help riders keep body positioning as they get tired and squeeze with their knees less.

Justin Buckelew was one of the first riders I remember having it.

I have one on my bike (it came with the bike when I purchased it), and let me be the first to tell you, that they do absolutely nothing. I honestly don't even notice it at all when I'm riding. Worthless in my opinion.
