New jerseys are cheap. hang the other in the garage as a souvenir.

1. Dip jersey in battery acid until jersey disintegrates.

2. Watch numbers disappear.

3. Smile at your success.

Just use duct tape. You can write your name and sponsors right on the tape. Plus, you'll be punk - cool like the mulisha when you win the race.

Sign up as your friend. Then proceed to clean everybody out and leave quick.

Put the jersey in the dryer for a while and then pull it out and start peeling away. You'll probably need tweezers to start to be able to lift the numbers away from the jersey. It's a pain in the ass and will take some time........but it can work, I've done it before.

I agree with the others that it will be easier to just get a new jersey, but if you really want to do this.

Go to a local chemical shop and ask for methylene chloride(about $10 for a pint), then turn the jersey inside out and get a cotton ball and dip it in the chemical and start rubbing the back side where the numbers and sponsors off. If you do that should only take about 15-30 minutes to get everything off. I have a heat press and we do this if we mess something up.
