Instead should he just pull over? It is racing. The object of racing is to keep the guy behind you from passing you.

Maybe the underline is, is it rude to expect a little more from a factory rider?

Jesus, the dude is coming off broken ribs and pneumonia. His G-pa also mentioned that the plate in his arm is bothering him but he doesnt have time to schedule the surgery to get it removed. I like jake, he just needs to get back in the swing of running that pace.

Also if you've ever had pneumonia you'd know it takes all the wind outta your sails (in the fitness depart) and it takes upwards of a year to get back to full health....

You have a point, I'm sure there are plenty of reasons, you think he will still be a factory rider for 2014?

thats my understanding too. I would imagine kawi expected jake to be a 5th place kinda guy with how stacked the field is.

Jake had a 5th at A1 then a 6th at Phx and another 5th at A2 then he went down with broken ribs/being sick.

Since being back he put down a 6th in Tor a 5th in sea and a 4th in vegas.

Not to bad if you ask me

Always been a fan, but you can't be just a one race wonder and expect to compete. Just saying.

Can we really say this is good racing especially when the guy you're holding up, not only passes you, but immediately gaps you by seconds?
