this may seem silly but i need to ask, is it easy to get tickets at the gate for hangtown or should i buy now online? like will i have to worry about it being sold out? I'm planning on getting there at 7am when the gates open so I'm sure it will be ok. and also I'm thinking of buying a VIP ticket for lakewood co, is it really worth it or should i just go general admission? sorry for the silly questions but I'm flying from australia and i don't want to take any chances.

I do not know anything about VIP tickets but for Hangtown you don't have to worry about anything. You can buy at thet track.

Yes in my opinion it is worth it. Free food and drink all day, all day pit pass, basically a unlimited pass to go wherever to watch. It has worked out a few times where it started to pour in the middle of the day and you have the covered viewing areas... makes you feel bad standing under the tent watching everyone else get soaked LOL.... but it is also nice when you are in mid summer and the days are so freaking hot...

Again this is only my opinion, it is the only way to go. Very nicely done, good experience


On a side note, Wife and I were going to do High point this year but something has come up, I have two VIP passes for sale for the High Point National June 8th
