Anybody been to this track?

I will be in Stillwater at the end of September to ride at Cooperland. I was going to hit the 500 and maybe this track too. Their website doesn't give much information.

Anybody have any other idea close to Stillwater?

Just a few weeks ago, somebody posted a photo essay about not taking a sight lap before wicking it up!

It was from Area 51. Maybe was on the no-leash site...sorry, can't recall, except they ended up having fun.

Spinner should know the Oklahoma board's URL.... they have an active forum that would give you lots of scoop for your trip.

On a practice day area 51 will be very dry slick.

Don't expect much

I wouldn't recommend the track. Super hard pack, rain rutted, and the faces had super big holes in them last time I was there. Bascially worse than the 500 on a bad day in my opinion.

There is a track in Blanchard that's sandy and pretty fun if you don't mind a bit of rough, loamy sand, and not a ton of jumps. I thought the layout there flowed well and it was a lot of fun.

Also a track called Sooner State Cycle park, I think down by OK City if I recall that is fun.

Have fun and be safe.

Oh yea, and lock your bikes up tight... really really tight.

Sooner State is east of OKC in Wellston. It is owned by Chan Baker and if you want his contact number pm me.

It is a great track.

We rode Area 51 and had fun. There is a variety of riding opportunities there and the owners are very nice.

Sooner was great, and prepped every morning. That is not the norm from what we've experienced in OK for daily riding.

Thanks. We will probably just try Area 51...with it being right in Stillwater.

After the first day at Cooperland, the next day at Area 51/the 500 and the final day back at Cooperland, I think I'll be VERY worn out anyway.
