The CDI on my 74 mx 175 went out, I've found a few NOS on fleabay but I read somewhere that some late 70s dt/rt boxes might work. Does anyone know if thats true (supposed to be more reliable) ? And if so , do you know the year/model of the bikes that are compatible?

I have this same question up in a couple of forums and have gotten zilch, I'm hoping the Old School Moto heads can help me with this. I WANNA RIDE!!!

Newmann, thanks for the reply ( search first ,ask second!) I should have known.... That PVL in the thread looks Badass, are you you still selling them? Did all the small bore mx series use the same cdi box?
