Hey everybody, I'm planning on taking the graphics off my bike. They were on there when I bought it and I didn't mind them because they are better than nothing andthey keep the plastics from getting scratched. But lately I've been getting tierd of having some else's name on my bike. So the question isWhat is the best cheap around the house/hardware store product to remove the glue once the graphic is off? the best I know is brake cleaner. Thanks for the tips.

If you are good with the blow dryer/heat gun. You will not leave any glue behind. But goof off is good but expensive. I like white gas(Coleman fuel) just don't smoke while your using it.

WD-40 usually will break down the glue if you let it sit.

Contact cleaner or gasoline in a rag and wipe. Don't spray the contact cleaner on the surface; it doesn't work as well for some reason.

...... I just did mine last night.

--- drop all your plastic in the tub w/ Hot water and a little soap
soak for 5-10 mins (they just come right off)
note: remove any SVRA/ sound inspection stickers (relocate to new graphics)

leave plastic soaking
--- dip your new graphics in one at a time, peel off backing **** Only warm water for install

install/ easiest way for me Cool

I did the heat technique. Used a hair dryer. just warm up the area your working in and peel, and repeat. I did number plates and for guards, out of all of it only left two small glue spots on one of the fork guard, and I think that was because of some dirt that got under it
