Davey/Ricky,

I wanted to Thank both of you for an organized and well run event that is truly a unique and memorable event for the Amateur racer. My Kid's and I had a blast and both them and I agree that it was the best race we have ever did(and that includes Mini O's and Lorettas) Ricky's attitude towards the Kid's and his fans could not be any better. Ricky, you are truly a Champ and class act on and off the track.

I also would like to thank Dean Wilson for his involvement on Sunday and his "high fiving" with the little guys... my Son told me twice that he had came up and high fived him and said "good job buddy" ... very cool.

I was one of the 65 Dad's you called in on Sunday to tell that you were not gonna allow them to jump the Pro finish line double and even though I didn't agree, I respected the decision and the thought behind it(safety)

That being said, the only thing I would change if asked would be to cut out the 3 lap practice on Monday morning. Do either a site lap before the moto(ala LL) or do an under caution site lap before the moto's start for all classes. I appreciate the extra track time but from a work/job/responsibility standpoint it would be better for most to get done sooner in the day rather than later.

Thanks again.

How was the track?

Would be so cool to be able to ride there and must have been a good time for your kids.

It was tough and challenging but safe... got rough and chewed up with nice ruts. Im pretty sure my kid on his 65 did every double on the track with the exception of the pro finish line which they were not allowed to air out(no doubt would have jumped that too.) so the jumps were safe IMO.

I think MXSPORTS did an amazing job of transforming the incredibly difficult pro track overnight in to something all could enjoy and be challenged with. I was very impressed with the whole experiance.

BDOG, thanks for the kind words and thanks for coming out to support the event. We really got lucky with the weather, and that allowed the track crew to keep it long and also use many of the rhythm sections the pros did, though tuned down for kids and amateurs.

The 65cc thing was a unique situation in that there were some very fast kids out there who race all the the time, and then a few that were absolute beginners. It was fine for the rest of the track, but on a big, blind double like that, there was just too much that might go wrong. I would never make a call like that at Loretta Lynn's -- all of the kids there have qualified through the system, and the track is set up from start to finish for a wide variety of experience and bike size -- but we didn't have the time to make many more changes than we did. I know some were not happy with the change, but there were 99 other places to go fast or get air on that track, and it all worked out in the end. Next year we will hopefully make it even better.

Thanks again for coming, the event was a lot of fun and RC is definitely a great host for a race like this.

Yessir! That race had better comp and bigger classes than the supposed "national" at Mill Creek. I bet in the future the RCSX will be recognized as a National event... i hope so. I know it will be an annual pilgrimage for us from here on out.

Awesome event had a great time and Jake qualified in both classes and rode really well.
Weege had fun calling him out making a bunch of passes on last lap of LCQ in Schoolboy 2 he was a little underpowered on his 125 but got in with the last position to make it.
