What kind of roost guards is safer?

Hi, I'll start riding a bike and I'm in doubt about what kind of roost guard is safer. the under jersey guards is safe like over jersey roost guard?
it is important the roost guard have a shoulder protector?
The roost guard like a alpinestar bionic is out of question because it is very hot where I live.
you guys could pass me some brands and models of good roost guards?

(Sorry for my english, I live in brazil and I don`t speak english very well. if it is not uncomfortable please do not use slang to facilitate my understanding)

some people told me that under jersey guards are not very secure like over jersey.its true?

Now i understand you say that leatt can use over or under.right
It is important the guard have the shoulder protect?Because some models don`t have.

I personally like the over jersey ones, I just feel safer in them, right now I currently wear the Fox Airframe, because it has the shoulder cups on it, i wear that one because of shoulder problems, But my bro wears the Fox Proframe and he loves it, it's neckbrace compatible so it fits with almost every neckbrace out there, which is awesome. I have the Atlas Neckbrace and my brothers Alpinestar brace also fits in my Airframe, I had to buy one size bigger in the Airframe because it wasn't neckbrace compatible, but the neckbrace compensates for the size issue, I just say go with what your comfortable with, and that you feel the most safe in.

I wear over ones but I wear them under a larger shirt. Currently using a Kali Protectives chest guard but the new ones from Leatt that are Fly branded are pretty nice!!!
