Is there a number on the cylinder to tell if its a true 76 cr cylinder? Or does someone want to sell one that hasn't been misbored cracked or ported with a few bores left thanks rick
I also have a lot of piston kits for those if you find a good cylinder. If you find one close to original bore, look for a stock Honda piston. They are cast and come in .25, .50, .75 and 1.00mm overbore sizes. After that you'll be looking at aftermarket pistons from Wiseco or Wossner. You can get up to a 2.0mm overbore with those. The Wossner pistons are works of art and cheaper by far than Wiseco. Google Wossner Online to purchase. If you have it bored locally, make sure they chamfer the ports and relieve the exhaust bridge. The exhaust bridge needs to be relieved a considerable amount as that is THE problem area on those top ends. Piston on the left is a Wossner. Right is a later model stock Honda.
