I'm a colorado native who just took a job at Cummins in Columbus, IN (about 40 miles south of indianapolis) that I'll start in the summer. What tracks riding area are close by? I don't mind a bit of a drive to get to a good one. Any info you guys have is appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your luck, central Indiana doesn't offer much for mx. High Fly and Wildcat are about your only choices.

This is a pretty complete list of places to ride in the state: http://www.westfieldyamaha.com/pages/CustomPage/Index/4732

There are a few xc series that hold most of their races in the central part of the state. Check out IXCR and MWXC.

It depends on how far you are willing to drive. If you are going to make a weekend of it, there are several tracks in Illinois. Walnut, (Sunset Ridge MX) which many consider to be the best track in Illinois, is about 5 hours from you but they often have two day race and practice weekends which makes it worth your while. There is also a track in Casey Illinois which is only a little over 2 hours from you.

Thanks guys, I don't mind driving a ways and making a weekend out of it. I also am down to ride trails or hair scrambles too. As long as I'm riding I'm happy.
