Hey FELD, how about designating the Minneapolis SX as a Blue Event for Autism Awareness? This is a great cause, and one that local enthusiast and Minneapolis SX attendee Jeremy Riesenberg is at the forefront of. In the past he has gotten the support of riders like Canard, Reed, Gilmore, and Matt Buyten (who had his bike and his entire get up themed around it at X Games last summer).

It would be awesome to roll into the Metrodome in April and see a wave of blue....from the riders in blue gear to the fans who'd like to support wearing blue as well...I know I will be. Jeremy has a link to petition Supercross for this going on Facebook. If you Vital members would like to support, please do so. He's hoping for 6,000 likes (roughly 10% of the Metrodome's capacity), but I think we can get him more than that. All it takes is a couple clicks. 1 in 88 children are diagnosed with Autism and we all know that Supercross is a young demographic, so this is really a no brainer. Thanks for reading!

Thanks muGz! Just to be clear, we aren't looking for a fundraiser aspect or anything other than some BLUE support. Awareness is the #1 goal with this project, as awareness builds education whch builds understanding. I know when I was a little tyke how much I idolized the stars of our sport and I know that if they use the platform to help causes like this it will make a huge impact on the future of children like my oldest, Elijah. Furthermore, I truly believe there is a future to be discovered using motocross as a sort of therapy for children on the spectrum. I have experienced the joy, and sense of overwhelming peace, that two wheels brings my son on the spectrum, and there is a really cool project (www.autismmx.org) that is doing this on a larger scale. Anyway, just wanted to add a little piece and hope everyone can take a minute to post the link to their Facebook or Twitter, and don't forget to tag Supercross so Feld takes notice!
