I think his wrist is what the problem is. Remember he broke the same bone that ended RJ's career. James has never been the same rider since that injury. Sure the competition has stepped it up, and almost everyone can "scrub" now. But the James that used to ride a Kaw is long gone....PROVE ME WRONG JAMES!
His gear looked good last night.
He said in his post race video that he has not rode all week, his knee was really sore, he was cold and will be a different rider next week at A2.

I still dont buy the knee thing that its an excuse that is slowing him down. Over time crashes and injurys and age just naturally "de-tune" you from being as fast as you once were. James is just in a field of riders that are now his equal.
Which ones paycheck would you rather pay based on results from the last two years?
like i said i really hope im wrong...i guess we will find out in the next few weeks...
Everyone can respect that. Injuries happen. No need to let everyone speculate.

Smartest James I've seen....
Hell it makes as much sense as anything eles in this thread.
So he's gonne focus on staying healthy and finish the season!
And that whole Bubba's world was clearly an excellent idea.
In reality, 2 problems, 1 his knee hurts, 2 his competition is F'ing fast. In years past a hurt James was still faster then the healthy field.

10 years ago it was fun. Now it's a job. James does not have the maniacal focus of a Carmichael, nor is he content to simply ride for a contract like other senior guys. The bar is set very high for James, both personally and among the fans. The vast majority of people do not have the fortitude to weather that kind of storm for a decade. James has performed admirably, even if the results don't reflect it. If he hung up his boots tomorrow, I would not blame him one bit.
even when he makes a statement with a fast hot lap in practice to put the fucktards at ease, they still feel he is washed up.
damage control mode in main is not good enough for many peoples standards i guess.
