They talked about this a little on the Pulpmx show last night. They corrected their first tweets and said that it was a dick move and that JH60 is not a dick.

do a no brainer t-bone take out when it doesn't count for the LCQ, then all by himself land on a tuff block on the side of the track, classic hanny.

BREAKING NEWS

Racer X Online has just learned from the AMA's Kevin Crowther that Josh Hansen will not be racing in Phoenix this weekend, as his team has decided to bench him as punishment for last Saturday night's hit on Alex Ray. Said Crowther: “The AMA has decided to fine Josh Hansen $4,000 for his actions at Anaheim and place him on probation for personal conduct for the rest of the series. He will not be suspended as his team is doing that on their own, and the AMA fully supports their decision.”

Crowther added that the penalty could be lessened if Hansen speaks to the Ray family, adjusting the fine accordingly if he makes restitution for the broken knee brace.

I think his team has made the right decision. Josh owes Alex an explanation and apology, surely.
