Question about Brooks/MC team

I have a friend who says that they have to pay for the Factory Honda Shorty rides. I say no way! Does anyone here know? I do know LB but I haven't talked to him in a while so I thought I would ask you guys. With MC part of this team, and his involvement with Honda, I just can't see this being true..

They pay, they all pay, Chad posted awhile back he was to pay 500k for a second bike for DW and it just didnt pencil out and when DW became available again He was pissed because Honda wouldnt help him to secure Dean.

Im sure his bike is not that much but a second bike with all the trimmings and use of race shop and technology they have is going to cost you

LB im sure pays for that works bike, granted not 500k but they all want to be like Nascar and thats how it works over there....

I remember reading the bike goes back to Honda each week during the week. Or at least on the semi.

My buddy drives the semi for l/mc and I know for a fact the bike doesn't travel with him. Stays on the factory truck. It is a leased bike but I'm not sure on price or anything

I knew for a fact Reed does not pay. And He just answerd my tweet and said no he does not have to pay for them. Why the hell would he ride it if he had to pay for it? I understand the first year when he started the team but he was using PC bikes then...

But he would take $500,000 and lease a motorcycle for his rider?
Doesn't sound like a jerk to me.
