Now with top out.. How does this work, can any American ride under the Porto Rica flag? Is it like the US B team?
If so, why do they not send 800,17 and Wimer?

I honestly think they don't want to send an actual team that has a chance to even challenge the US's chance of a win. Think about a Team Puerto Rico of Stewart, Tomac, and Alessi.

I have a feeling the riders want to ride for USA or nothing at all. If I were Stewart and was asked to ride for Team Puerto Rico, I'd probably take it as a slap in the face. Same with Alessi and Tomac. . .

Send JT$ to replace him! Dont even need a different bike,

I think the rule is, you are allowed one change. So if you haven't ever rode with 1 USA effort, then riding puerto rico you can change back to USA later. But if you ride USA and then puerto rico, you are stuck. Just what I remember

This has been talked about some already, it seem the rule was changed the year after Wilson switched from Canada to UK so you can no longer ride for 2 different teams. The guy who organizes the PR deal does it on the cheap, so he needs a couple guys willing to roll with the punches and who are easy to deal with.
