Watch this crazy shit! The gnarly uphill section reminds me of a way more extreme Suicide Mtn at Saddleback (or was it Banzai? pic below) Seriously, check this shit out and look at all the spectators packed on the hillside, Italians take their moto seriously!

Watch: 2012 FMI Enduro National Italian Championships Rd 2

The Italian crowd packs the hillside for this incredibly brutal stage of the Extreme Test at the 2012 FMI Enduro National Italian Championships in Lumezzane, Italy. You have got to see this to believe it!

Tell me, doesnt it remind you a bit of this? but wayyy gnarlier. Woohoo

Love how they attached the hook to the first guy, and he basically gave up straight away "well, you guys are going to pull me up anyway"

...and you guys know how vid makes EVERYTHING look way tamer / easier than it really is? i bet being there was mind boggling.

How about the dude with the flashing LED lights on him? lol that section he bailed on (downhill) also looked gnarly!

Loved the crowd packed hills, reminded me of the Tour De France...dirtbike style Cool

I gotta be honest... That doesn't look even remotely difficult. Maybe I am a bit biased. I have more difficult terrain in my backyard. All of that looked like a normal trail ride within a few miles of my house. My old quad would have made quick work of that.

But to be clear, I'm not discounting the skill or speed of the guys in that video. They are very talented. I'm just biased because living in the Appalachian mountains has kind of spoiled me. A large part of my ability and skill set has come from growing up here in some of the most difficult and varied terrain in the country.

I really don't know how you guys in the midwest and Texas and such stand it. Just flatness everywhere. It would suck so bad!

I remember reading some dudes sig saying something like, "Have an opinion? Keep it to yourself."

How ironic.

I wasn't aware I attacked anyone? I enjoyed the vid...and gave the guys props. It takes skill no doubt. I just didn't think it was REALLY difficult or anything. Chill out.... I've never seen a community so ready to attack.

Edit: To clarify... that sig is because I'm tired of every time I post I get flamed because I don't ride two wheels. Bunch of 12 year olds on this forum. I'd rather add something to the convo than spend all my posts defending myself from the flaming. Look back through my (relatively short) post history... Not once will you find me flaming or attacking anyone. I try to add to any conversation I partake in. That doesn't seem to be a coveted quality in this forum.

Regardless of you that think it was not difficult (it was). I enjoyed that, immensely! Great find.

"every time I post I get flamed"

Well, with gems like below, what do you expect?

"I gotta be honest... That doesn't look even remotely difficult. Maybe I am a bit biased. I have more difficult terrain in my backyard. All of that looked like a normal trail ride within a few miles of my house. My old quad would have made quick work of that. "

That is not bias, it is being totally clueless.

Damn, spot on Eddy, i thought maybe my sarcasm detector was defective, he cant really be serious..can he? ..or maybe he didnt realize this is actually the "2012 FMI Enduro National Championships" kind of a big deal for these guys, and that last segment from the Xtreme event was gnar.

..and before you come back with some bs about being "attacked" this is no attack, it is "fact"

You dont get flamed because you are a quad rider. You are a quad rider, therefore you are a douche, and its the douchiness that gets you flamed.

In all seriousness, you should think about signing up for the World Enduro's. Since that looks so easy for you. Because some of the world's best offroad guys were at this event and they we're not making up that hill.

In fact, "hill" is not a proper term. The video does that event no justice. It was near vertical for the last 25 feet. Your quad would have more than likely taken out spectators below as it tumbled to its death.
