Not a fair comparison.
If we could be a fly on James jersey and take a lap with him on his bike we would all be changing our shorts after that I'm sure
I could only amagine how it feels to race at that pace.

Machine makes no difference. Say the offensive line isn't up to snuff in Denver, does Peyton bail on the team cause his protection sucks, or does he stick around and try to help the team get better as a team?

If you get away from the fanboy prespective, James comes off as someone who took his ball and went home early in the game.

As a fan, it is rad to see James ride that yellow flavor bike. Superpumped he is riding outdoors, but as a man, lost a lil repect for the guy. I mean four months really? Way to be a "TEAM" guy.
You in charge of jgr now? They made a decision and your not happy with it.
I'm happy as hell over the decision.

Teams and players mutually agree to go seperate ways all the time. Wawazat just needs something to dislike James about.

Umm, maybe you missed the earlier where I said I liked James? Alessi, J-Law, Chad, and James are my guys for 450. Don't take criticism for hatered, you can be a fan and criticise.

I love me some Kobe Bryant as well, but when he does stupid shit, I don't make excueses for him.

Four months in? Care to show me an example of one top guy in any mainstream sport, who bailed after four months cause he wasn't winning?

I'll still smack talk James.

He gave JGR a whole sx season to work on the bike? Dedication!
What would people say in baeball if Pujols wanted out of his contract cause the Angels were not working out for him and he couldn't get used to them? Complete meltdown! ESPN would trash the crap out of him. Fans would trash talk him forever.
It is my opinion, that when you sign a contract, you honor it, good or bad. They have spun it really nicely that both parties wanted oout of the contract, but I can say with 100 percent certainty, that JGR didn't approach James about disolving the contract. JGR is a class act.
No RV or Reed and Dungey on a new bike are a few factors why James is 4-0.

Some bikes fit riders better than others, James wasn't happy on the blue bike, and we see he seems really happy on yellow, which is good for the fans.

Don't start with hater bs, I am a James fan, just not a fanboy.

You want James to honor the contract but James really believes he wasn't honoring the contract during the Supercross season. He has stated in multiple PulpMx Radio Show interviews that JGR paid him to win and he wasn't winning; therefore, he wasn't capable on that bike of honoring the contract.

So the scenario you want to happen is: James just rides around, tarnishing his legend, collecting a shit ton of money while doing it.

And the scenario James chose is: to leave all the money behind, take a zero-salary summer by a factory team to prepare for Supercross (2013) and is winning.

Wow, the dude cannot please anyone.
Guessing nowhere in that contract did it state James HAD to win to get paid. Like I said they have spun it really good.

James' legend is tarnished in my eyes. He gave it a whole four months! Maybe it was time for James to put on his big boy pants and do work. No secret James isn't a good bike tester. Maybe not quit after four months cause the grass is greener somewhere else?

Zero factory paycheck is so played out, James may not be getting money from Yosh/ Suzuki, but James is getting paid. Also guessing there is a injury clause in the contract that states if James gets hurt while riding outdoors and misses sx, he still will be paid.

James is the man fo sho, but I personally can't wait for 2013 when Bad Chad and Drill-a-puto are out there too. It is so weird to not have Chad out there.

Umm maybe you said it but you sure aren't acting like it. Get over it. Shit happens. Who gives a fuck what happens or has happened in main stream sports. MX isn't so it's apples to oranges.

I can't help but notice that the "mood" of the forum has changed.. A few months/weeks ago I read these forum topics and things like James...
I can't help but notice that the "mood" of the forum has changed.. A few months/weeks ago I read these forum topics and things like James will NEVER race outdoors to James will NEVER win another race to etc etc etc.... Any time a topic about JS7 came up the Reed/Villo/Dunge lovers or JS lovers came out with guns blazing with all the above mentioned.

As of the last few days or last weekends win the mood seems to have turned a corner, more respect seems to be flowing out of keyboards... Did JS7 save Vital? Maybe just for a few weeks....

I like them all, give respect to every man on that 42 gate drop... they are all worth it.

No doubt on the respect thing. But I refuse to respect felons. Therefor, I give none to James Stewart.

So give me the charge he was convicted of?

I think you're going to find out that you're guilty of not knowing.

James isn't a felon.
The Felony charges were dropped and he pleaded no contest to a simple 3rd degree misdemeanor which suited what he did much better. And it ain't no big deal on a record....
Also the adjudication of guilt was withheld by the judge because he was a first time offender.
Think he got 75 hours of CS, 1 year's probation and a $500 fine.
I assume it will be off his record after a certain period of time.

This was the formal charge "843.081(2) USE OF FLASHING OR ROTATING BLUE LIGHT - ADJUDICATION WITHHELD NO TRIAL REQUIRED "

Laughing

FastEddy breaks out the facts again.

Someone made the point that James situation isn't that different than CP's, but the PR was handled better. Whatever the deal is, it's over and time to move on. OR, you can WAH, WAH, WAH, some more on Vital about how butt hurt you are over what happened between people you don't know. The rest of us will laugh at how pathetic your life must be while we enjoy some good battles between 7 and 5.
