Just curious what is at stake for some of the riders hovering around top 3 or top 5 such as Dungey. Does anyone know how the bonus payouts are structured? For example, is it a huge difference in pay for RD finishing 3rd as opposed to 4th? Or Alessi taking 5th from Weimer? Not that I need to drum up any more excitement for tonight's race, but some more story lines to pay attention to will definitely do it. Thanks!

They're all different. Just depends on their contract. I was wondering How the payouts go for the shootout vs a regular 250 race...

Note:

For this event, the Lites purse will be paid out for the east-west shootout Only. The east and west main events will only pay Championship points.

Just saw that on the schedule... Answers my question.

I know this isnt contract bonuses, but from the AMA for 450 o/a i believe is

1 - 100k
2 - 50k
3 - 25k

but i could be wrong, i just vaguely remember seeing pics from the SX banquet of the big checks.

Ok thx. I was hoping someone had some inside info like "if Dungey gets third in points he will get a 1M bonus". I'm sure top 3 or 5 is worth some extra bucks for sure though.

The 1m is for the title (as im sure you know) but im sure there has to be a substantial sized check for getting in the top 3, as apposed to being 4th and below.
