I think we will be seeing a lot of close racing like that, IMO Herlings/Searle are a lot closer in speed that Herlings/Roczen Cool

I've always wanted to ride that Agueda track, it looks so nice to ride!

Love it! Its amazing to see how much momentum these guys carry. Complete opposite to watching a SX race. I've a feeling this years MX2 class is gonna be as dull as the 450SX title finish. Herlings is on another level entireley this year. Beat Rokzen last year by a mile at Valkenswaard and is even faster this year. Its got ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz......... written all over it.

A moto like that will wake you up real quick at 5AM state side. I don't see that happening in MX2 Monday unfortunately.

Looking forward to the GP's. Here in the States, I think you will see a different Ken Roczen than you are seeing in SX. Roczen is my pick for the 250 outdoor title.

I think him and Deano will take it to the final race. I honestly don't know who to pick between those two. If I had to bet my life on someone right now, I would probably go with Deano.

The MX2 class should be a lot more interesting when Tonus and Zach get back but that MX1 class should more than make up for it,fuckin awesome Wink

The AMA have an amazing Lites class coming up Outdoors for certain

they hadnt lapped third. i got third in that moto and def didnt get lapped. that track is so gnarly. looks awesome and it is fun to ride but it will bite you faster than you can blink. its really hard to judge as well because the dirt is the same color if its wet or dry so its hard to tell what you are getting into sometimes.

Hmm... at 5:34 it says 3rd place (you) are down a lap. They must have messed that up, because you would know more than anyone. Either way it was an awesome race. The track looks gnarly behind the keyboard, so I can only imagine what it's like for you guys.

I can't see anyone touching Barcia outdoors. This kids is just as quick outdoors as indoors. Sorry but it will be the same results as what we are seeing in SX. The kid is getting faster and fitter every race.

Heal up quick. Really sorry to hear about your injury. Agueda seems like a scary place to keep it pinned. High speed with bumps, ruts and changing grip...

I would be very surprised if Roczen doesn't win. If he can ride like he did last year in the GP's I don't think Barcia will finish close to him. I am however extremely impressed by Barcias speed in SX. He seems to be a step above the rest of the litesriders there.

I think Roczen seems to struggle with the travel to all the races, getting on planes all the time, jet lag.. It will be a change from Europe where he had his camper and arrived on a Friday relaxed after a 1-2h flight. He has had a few crashes as well which in the US series can hurt his chances. And last but not least KTM in europe is THE machine to win bike wise the level field will be more even with PC and Geico bikes.

It was Micheal Leib a lap down, they'd never get anywhere near lapping most guys there except for crashes,Anstie and Paulin were 4th and 5th I think it said, didn't you have the flu or something Zach? Hope things are going ok and you'll be back soon Wink

are you serious?! barcia won the supercross last year and then did nothing outdoors! how many 250f moto's/ overalls has he actually won outdooors? (he's been racing outdoors since 2009 hasnt he?)

i think the tables will be turned outdoors- both baggett and roczen will be alot faster than barcia, so will wilson- and you can never count out rattray. The championship will be between those 4 in my opinion (i'd say wilson and roczen are favourites)

Roczen had some great battles with herlings last year- jeffrey has improved on the more hardpack circuits over the last year too, he's untouchable in the sand, but as the video above shows (and his performance at st jean d'angely des nations last year) he's pretty handy in all conditions now!

As for zach (338) - hope you get better soon, i was gutted to hear that you were injured! I expected zach and tonus to be right up there with searle challenging for the title this year (with herlings as strong favourite) Must be gutting for steve dixon!

Herlings will win by at least a minute both moto's at valkenswaard if he rides like he did last year- he was on another planet last year! looked like he was riding a different track to everyone else!!!

mx-life.tv, I think it's 5 euros for one GP pass, there might be a free stream somewhere though, seeing as it's on Motors TV LIVE as well

To be honest, though I think Roczen will undoubtedly be one of the top guys, I don't think he'll have such an easy time of it on the AMA scene as he did in the GPs (I realise you're not saying that either). Not because either series is stronger but.... they are different.

I mean the thread video for example - you probably couldn't find an AMA track like that. The GP tracks seem to be a touch slower and prepared differently. And then you have the format which is once again utterly different. The guys in America are extremely good at learning the track really quick and then being ready to race on the same day - I remember this being a huge shock to Rattray. Though SX will no doubt have helped Ken adjust somewhat, it may still catch him off guard.

With Barcia it's hard to tell. I think he's a much improved rider over last year. His confidence has to be soaring with the way he's been riding lately and I think he'll rightly expect much more from himself this year outdoors.

Awesome vid PressPass, I'd forgotten about this race.

Roczen will do fine outdoors. It's his ability to carry momentum that sets him apart and that's not on display as much in Supercross wich is real stop/start. Remember he caught and passed both Ryans in France on a slippery track with steep uphills! He'll be quick whatever the surface.
