MUD Game USA sucks balls

so I'm english...and i came across this site advertising a game called MUD- FIM world motocross championship......and realised how much BETTER it is than anything the americans could ever come up with e.g. rainbow studios motocross madness or every single THQ MX vs ATV game.

This actually has real riders, real bikes, real sponsors (energy drink, clothing, helmet etc.) real tracks and realistic racing conditions. I mean, how many races do you see the rider pulling off tricks on each jump (now you smart asses out here will now tell me about speed and style at x games...i don't care...thats not real racing)..freestyle and racing are two separate modes in this game.

Have you seen the gameplay videos of it? You scrub to get ENERGY BOOST WHEN YOU LAND!!!! There are no real tracks. They just threw a couple of mount everest's out there and built random tracks around them.

Real bikes and riders exist though. But I'm not buying a game just for some fancy bikes when the gameplay looks like nintendo 64 and tracks around volcanos and castles.

the games still in the development stages hun, so expect the first 'official' vids to be a lil dodgy. nothing that can't be rectified my viking friend.

tracks look like they are all in the same area, sorta like Reflex and Alive as a comparison.

i'll buy it just because i'll buy every moto game that comes out. hope it does well, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation of the series can only improve

looks like ball sack. wont be purchasing this one. just because it has all this real stuff doesnt mean shit. alive had real bikes real sponsors real riders. and just because it says it has a track named (insert gp track that i dont give 2 shits about) doesnt mean its anything like the real track. they already said that the tracks had to be changed for game play.

want to play a real game on real tracks? ...


pretty sure the game that that track belongs to was made in the USA btw.

really wish i had a decent computer to play that game on, my vista piece of shit laptop plays MCM2 flawlessly though.

but the aerial view screenshot that someone posted of Thunder Valley was fucking epic.

dude, it doesnt really take that badass of a computer. ill look up my specs and post them. i run it flawless. you should just get it and play single player time trials or small multi player ones on low settings. then whenever u upgrade computers, your ready to rock and roll. theres really only ever like 10 guys at the most during regular nights. its only $42. one night without hookers and blow outa cover that for you right? people are always working on making things better with it too. at no extra cost. so the more people that start jumping on board, i feel the better everything will get.

Sure did, seems we all still come back around every couple of years or so. You know, there's still people creating tracks for that game? I just put one released today up on my site - it's quite a track too. Whiteboy is back in action too, creating a new track on his MAC no less. Anyway, if I keep this up, I'll OT this thread to a completely different game. Wink

Looks like we were having some notification problems over the weekend, they just kicked it this morning about 3am PST, hammered my inbox with well over 30 of them lol I just lets our code monkeys know about it and im sure they will be taking a look into the problem sometime today (Monday)
