Looks like he really needs the $$ with a Lambo and Ford GT in the background lol, unless they are not his. He sure included enough pics of it

Maybe JS should buy it? Tongue

A novice can buy a stock 250, but this one is too fast for a novice?

Also comparing a 2001 to a new 450 is kind of silly. Nice bike but too much $.

The 01-03 RM250's weren't as good as the 04+ and they have tranny problems

Any savvy buyer would inquire about the 05 he has for sale

Purchasing bikes from the NYC area is always a good idea because they barely get ridden

That guy must of bumped his head. What does he think they raced in the 250 novice class, 50cc's ? Jeez people really try to play the " oh look it's a 2 stroke" who cares. It's just another motorcycle.Blink

There's some marketing weirdness going on there that makes my spidey senses tingle.

First, It would seem he transported that bike to someplace where there were a bunch of fancy cars sitting around so he could use them as backdrop. I'm basing that on the second set of photos that look like they were taken just after he got done spending $84.75 at the quarter car wash. (Hey dude- you missed the backside of the sprocket.....)

Second, that bike has either never seen boots and dirt, or he did a heck of a job repainting the frame rails, clutch cover, and replacing the pipe. Spend a couple more quarters next time and degrease that rear fender. And drop your needle two grooves.

Finally, why the heck would a guy work so hard to make his scoot look that good and leave that ratty blown out grip on the left side?

I dunno, there's just some weirdness going on there. I'll give him $2100.25.

Okay, I think I found what had my subconscious suspicions high. Upon closer inspection of the photos, I realized the fasteners on the clutch perch were wrong. Everybody knows the 02 RM uses the slotted-head screw and external nut on the top half of the flange and the 8 mm hex head bolt on the bottom half. They didn't switch them until 05.

I'd like to see a couple hundred pictures of his 05- I betcha he mixed up the clutch perch clamps.

My offer just dropped to 2100.24.
