All of these places are the same. They are huge money holes from parking to the $10.00 beers oh and plus your event ticket. Plus, they usually involve huge hassles to move from one area to the other. In St. Louis last year, we sat in line for half an hour to get our monster can pit pass, stood in line another half an hour to just get in the door (only one freaking door was open to the entire dome), then we stood in line to get into the pits and we rushed back for qualifying (first SX race) only to discover most of the guys do one hot lap and it is done plus you have no way of knowing who is doing what. Going to these things is a big deal and bravo the riders who appreciate it. Maybe the venue owners or promoters should spend sometime living what us measly spectators put up with to gain a better appreciation of how to run these things.

We tried BART as well after hearing about the nightmares other's had last year at Oakland, with them overselling the parking lot and being forced to park far away in super sketch areas. We had kids with us and BART seriously made the event so much more enjoyable. FREE PARKING at the BART station and a $3.50 one way ticket to the stadium, easy on easy off. The train runs every 15 minutes. You can brown bag it also on BART which is nice.

If so, you did better than 10+ cars in Orlando this weekend at the Monster Jam. Driver's windows broken out, gun stolen, iPad, kid's DSs, and anything else inside the cars. They paid $15 to park, so I guess you got a good deal.

5 guys at work today having the glass man replacing their windows . Not covered by insurance.

Yeah, you got off OK.....
why would that not be covered by insurance? My car was broken into in Roanoke, VA during a hockey game and they paid for the glass, the stereo system and over 100 CD's that were stolen.
