230 vs 250 motor architecture

asking for info from people that have hands on experience with these two motors.... do you know what the relative interchange of structural components is/are on these two motors ? i.e do they share the same crank and rods but use different cylinder and head ? are the cases the same but w/ different internals ? are they simply two completely different motors sharing NO commonality what so ever ? ... that sort of thing... forget about cam specs or tuning specs... i'm talking basc structure...

if you are asking about the 230/250 trail bikes they are different engines.

no... well maybe... specifically the crf230 vs the crf 250 mx bike (r?)
