What an ass.....it was racing. Dungey took the chance in a turn to pass on the outside and Jay cut him off. Dungey didnt let off and went down. It had nothing to do with being a "drunk idiot". Grow up

Judging by the way you stand up for J what area of d6 are you from? I used to race central PA allot and ran Miles Mountain allot before I moved down to NC this year.

it really sucks azz to have a rider that trains and actually tries to ride to his potential on the track.

We need more wild child types. Wouldn't it be great if 30 or so riders were dropping out before the end of each moto due to dehydration because they got drunk the night before? Maybe we could have rental car crash up derby each weekend? Chug a sixer and then smash 'em up? Yep, that's what this sports needs.

If you listen to the interview, Ryan says that it was a racing incident, and that he should have known better. It seems that J-law's mouth, dirty riding, and attitude have all combined to tick Dungey off.

But you're right, the fact that Jason is a drunk idiot has little to do with the take-out.

if your trying to refrence to jlaw, your a bit off.
he took, what, 5th 1st moto and wrecked out in the 2nd moto at freestone.... didnt just drop out.
and at highpoint was running 2nd with a pretty good gap back to 3rd and 4th already in the 3rd lap, when his junk yamaha quit on him.
so where did he just drop out?
just wondering.
but yes, we do need more wild childs. makes for something to talk about.

I was standing right there....thats my point.
Again to re-hash this whole Jlaw thing he was wrong for sure at Freestone, never said any diffrerent nor did he make ANY excuses for his racing? NO.....and have you ever heard him whine about racing? He takes it as it comes. I guarentee if he said he would take someone out every chance he gets it would be wrong...but its okay for Dungey.
Go ahead let Dungey have at Jay.....it will be his famous last words

My husband has always taught my son that if you get taken out its because you put yourself in the position to let it happen.....deal with it.

Yep. I actually live in NE new jersey but we race all the PA tracks including Miles Mt. Believe me, I have known Jay along time. He does do ALOT of really stupid things for which he only has himself to blame. But sometimes it just kills me that these guys cant move on to a new subject and dwell on him....ive come to realize that he must be doing at least something partially right to piss alot of people off.....oh well.

Even worse is Josh Hill.....that kid crashed in the first moto went about to last and rode his ass off in the first moto. Second moto he didnt get a great start but again rode hard up to 6th....he sailed by Cody Cooper like nothing. But thats a positive week so no one here will talk about that....just a very stupid mistake he made at Freestone. I just dont get it

Don't you think it could be just a little trash talk going on?

J-Law trashed talked about Dungey the whole SX season for no reasons.

Right or wrong, I'm glad to see "nice boy" Dungey show some character.

Bottom line is Lawrence is a punk who doesn't respect anything. (Not even his employer). For fuck sake, the guy didn't even show up at the SX banquet to accept his championship and give his team the needed exposure.

When you screw up once, people forget and move on (Hill will be fine, just watch) but when you do stupid shit, don't respect people around and keep doing it on a regular basis... it gets harder and harder to move on. How can you support someone like that?

So Villopoto has lost one moto this year so far and there are 25 threads about Lawrence for each one about Villopoto on the Internet.
And that's not by accident...

You sitting there suggesting Dungey to "grow up" is comical. Jlaw has been a bonehead on and off the track "ALOT" for years and Dungey called him out on it. End of story. Dungey is a grown ass man, and he acts like one unlike some. Dungey has earned the right to call it like he sees fit.

Let Jay do what he has to do, but he's out of the points already, and it's only the 4th rd. And I'm sure it has everything to do with the bike...LOL Didn't seem to have much of a problem running up and down the hills of Glen Helen.

Its all good, but it shows that JLaw, being a drunk idiot, is getting to Dungey. That is JLaw's game.

JLaw needs to alter his game plan to include finishing moto's.

Not to make light of the incident, but no need to crucify JLaw, he is still young. How many of you old geezers behind your key boards never made mistakes at 20, 21? Some of you young ones, haven't lived yet to make mistakes. Now anytime somebody farts, the finger is going to point at JLaw? Even what Dungey said, it was in the heat of the moment, the third parties all saw a racing incident. Unless you were there, let's grow up here.

Grow up meant DONT blame something that you did on someone else....got it? Like you said he is a "grown ass man" then take it like one and come back stronger the next time.

True intelligence at work here....hmmm since the bike was good for Glen Helen it should be just fine for High Point? I get it he was in 2nd and just decided to pull off right?
But again you were not there so you wouldnt know.....

Mom, I'm not really into bashing JLaw...I think he makes his own consequences. I think you are prolonging the issue by defending him.

You talked about on track incidents (if you get block passed it was your fault).

Same holds true in life. All these posts about JLaw exist because of his own actions. Defending it does nothing but keep the battle going. Lots of people think he is dumb and going to wash out. This (internet forums) is where you go to say those things.

I hope he gets it together because he can ride the hell out of a motorscooter. Instead of blocking Dungey, he should be battling w/ Poto IMO.

As far as Ryan's statement the press conference...he was pissed. I doubt you'll see that on the track. I'm sure the AMA has "advised" him about it. If he starts doing takeout moves he will have his own consequences to pay.

Post a reply to: Dungey J-Law pass?
