Not a JS fan, but that jump on a 125 is impressive as hell.

Gauthier Paulin recently visited Catalunya in his new Kawasaki. Its not a big jump but no one has ever gone 3-1 there before, Not Barragan, Campano, Lozano, Izoird...I was shocked when I saw the vid! skip to 0:40

You lose your video posting right for a day for that video. 1:14 long and 30 secs into it nothing has been shown besides advertisements and credits......and then the "leap" was about as impressive as the dump I took this morning. Geeze.

MC- Steel Roots, he did a big step up to a 4th gear stand up wheelie. Still one of the coolest things I've seen! Hope someone has got a video clip for that one

It's absolutely incredible how fast he was on that thing. He carried unbelievable momentum and looked so confident.

James was on another planet on that 125. I was at this race and couldn't believe the confidence. Unreal. I miss that section at 3:10. I think they took that out the year that Stratton redesigned part of the track.[embed][/embed]

Maybe thats why I put skip to 0:40? I dont know, lately I find my self more impressed with these king of things than a big jump, more skill required imo

i over jumped that on a cr125 in 97 when my throttle stuck and landed about 3 feet from the crest of the triple! rode out of it but i was pretty freaked for about a lap! i remember on open rides some friends and i made a rut back by the fence to get a run at it and we still couldnt make it on 125's

His last "leap". Video doesn't do justice. This is 2 jumps. No one else jumped it... Ever...

His second "Leap". Check at 2'26"

No one did that one either...
I think it was the british gp 2009, there was a bomb hole, with a ski jump before it,

Most were jumping in and out, but im pretty sure it was arranda, he jumped into the bomb hole, he cased it pretty hard first time, but kept going for it.

Was one of the craziest things ive ever seen. He was the only person to do it the whole weekend.

Robby Marshall has a set for sure! I don't know if the photo was ever posted on here but he hucked a 180' step down at Budds Creek a few years back that wasn't even supposed to be a jump. The jump was the tunnel at the end of the first straight after the current first turn. At the time they were running the track reversed and he was hitting it coming out of the sweeper. It took him a few attempts (and a few front rims) to get it dialed in but towards the end he was sticking it every lap on the 450. If anyone has a photo of that please re post it cuz it was epic for sure.
I was there that day that he pulled that off. After watching him break a front rim and slam his head off the bars a time or two I didn't think he would clear it. But sure enough he hucked that thing, and you are right it is easily over 150+ feet with not much of a run. Robby sounded like he would barely grab 4th gear when he hit it....A memorable moment indeed Smile
