No doubt that's a lot of money and I highly doubt anyone will bid over $4000.00 for it. BUT...if you tried to build it from scratch with the components he has , you would find yourself digging a money pit in short order. I eneded up sinking roughly $6000.00 and about a hundred hours of labor into my 81 YZ250H. Lots of new trick shit from top to bottom and front to rear. Great bike, fun and handles great. Slow engine though.

Totally remember those air scoops, only available 1 year than bikes were watercooled..Just because you put a lot of $$$ in a vintage bike doesn't make it worth it. i agree that that is a nice bike but it is un remarkable... if it was a fox or dg bike (bought from them already set up) or a fmf bike it might be worth it.....

Not taking ANYTHING away from this resto, but I have never seen anyone recoup their expenditures when restoring a vehicle, me included. I sunk $10K into a 1972 Formula 400 Firebird, sold it for $4K...story of my life haha
