hi.
i coming from Israel to L.A at october and wants to ride motocross in los angeles.
i have some experience at motocross riding but i dont know how much it worth in the USA standarts so i may starts at the easy tracks and see how it goes.
im riding at Israel on a crf450 2009 but thinkin of buying a 250f when i will come.
what bike can i buy for 4000-4500$?
what truck can i buy for up to 2500$?
and what tracks you have there? links may helps a lot.
do you have dunes out there?

$4000 09 450 .......... cheaper for a 250f
$2500 late 1990's Toyota 2.4L reg cab tacoma truck (what all the landscapers drive ...... very reliable Good gas mileage)

Here's some links to some good well prepped Southern CA tracks. Also, Hallzilla is right, be prepared for a very eye opening experience being on these tracks. Most guys/gals riding here are pretty serious. It is still a fun time but a lot of riders are training and many of them are serious racers. Have fun in CA.

i am already in cali for 3 week i just didnt have a wireless (:
i have bought a kx250f 2006 and rode it already about 6 time at- milstone, starwesx, perris raceway and av.
i like it here but i think i gonna ride only at milestone i have like it the most.
what is a good time to go to glamis and pismo?

I Love Racetown ....... my favorite track.

Pismo is 3 hours from LA area, and and hit Zaca Station Mx on the way up. Glamis about 3 hours from San Diego .... Don't forget a paddle tire !

Hit them on the off weekends and should not be a problem.
