I heard somewhere that he wasn't going to be on VMS Yamaha anymore. Anyone know where hes gonna land? I think he is still a top 10 threat on any given track. The guy is a bad dude and just hope he gets a good ride for 2012.

I´m sorry, but he just hasn´t been the same guy since he was top privateer in 06. I think he´ll have a hard time landing a ride unless he´s there to help develop a good bike for the younger riders

Results-wise, maybe. But image-wise he is still a darling of the media and offers a team and its sponsors more exposure than a lot of riders that may get better race results.

what do you mean same guy? The guy is a huge fan favorite for still grinding out both series and still performing at the top level of the sport for years! He turned pro in 1997 and he is still out there kicking ass IMO. He's a good guy and has had an awesome career. In 06 he had been a pro for almost 9 years! For him to be out there today even getting a 15th is impressive to me. I know the ti-lube team hasn't had the success of most teams, but i sure hope Wey can change that for them this year.

He was better on the Kawasaki anyway. Hopefully it's a great year for them both.

2010 St. Louis Supercross Nick Wey holeshot and ended up 4th with the TiLube bike! Best finish of the season(maybe best finish in 3 years?) same season he did a stint with Factory Kawasaki.

The only place I ever heard anything about Foremost Insurance is from Nick Wey. That's gotta say something about his value to a potential sponsor.

Wey is money to what ever team signs him......great presence and professional attitude.
Add in the testing ability and that is good value for a team.

Wey has had a great ride in this sport. its all gravy. There are no expectations and no pressure to get on the box. All he is hired to to is make it into the main in SX. As far as outdoors goes what ever happens, happens.

Not bad if you ask me.

True, his image is great among the fans and the media. I´m not hating on the guy, I´m just saying his results haven´t been as good as they were in 06 which is a shame
