I did the repair and refinishing on the tank, fenders and numper plates on this one for a friend in New Jersey about eight years ago. I hooked him up with a bunch of misc. little parts to make the restoration correct down to the last detail. Even tracked down brand new correct Bridgestone tires for it that had been sitting in a warehouse squashed flat at the bottom of a stack of tires for the past thirty some odd years. He showed it in some bike shows around the area and it ended up being purchased to be a part of the Dave Mungenast collection in Missouri where it sits on display. Sweet bike for the early CR lovers.

Sweet bike indeed. What are your plans for the 06 RM 250 you picked up? Any chance of you wanting to adopt an oldtimer "kid".

Looks great.
I like the little MR50 on the left. I wonder if that's the one that was purchased at VMD last year. Marple Motors built it and had a custom down pipe and fiberglass side panels. I based my MR50 restore on that one. Of course I don't have the custom down pipe on mine but I did track down a replica DG pipe for it.

I think that MR and the CR250M above the 125 were purchased as a set if I'm not mistaken. I only helped out with the 125 though.

My mistake on the RM, it was another guy in a thread with your bikes pictured. I can clean those filters but only got the practice because I could never could get anyone else to do mine.
