Almost lost another track...to fire

Village Creek MX caught on fire today, probably from some doucher's cig butt.

While there's not much fire can do to the track itself, the buildings, equipment, lights, etc are vulnerable.
Fortunately, the fire fighters got there in time to save all that. It ended burning up the trail area only.

With the dwindling rider numbers, and the drought causing events to be cancelled, losing that stuff might have been the final straw.

Thanks for the info Karl. Village Creek is our home track and I glad it wasn't damaged.

what's crazy is its done nothing but rain here for the past week. literally every day for 6 days. straight downpoor at times and other a constant drizzle.
I have some other friends down there. Really wish I could send some your guys way. Hang in there.
