Themrtoad, say hi to Calle from me. I'm sure I'm going to see him again at some point. Another one killed? That's horrible, third this year. What's going on? This means more people ride or something?

Croom Mx, tnx man. I honestly though they are crappy compared to what people usually post here and I didn't want people expect to much.

Andy (Scooter5002), to bad we couldn't meet this year, but I'm sure there will be other occasions. I will not be a stranger to the US in the future and you might get the balls to travel overseas and watch a mxDn at some point (I almost always go there)? Smile

I will see if I can dig up some more pics to post. I'm afraid the ones I skipped to post are honestly lower quality.
I told Calle you said Hi and he remembers your visit which was popular. He was happy to see a new face that spoke Swedish.
His weekend didn't go well, he got sick on friday and was also messed up from a crasch at Glen Helen last weekend that knocked him out together with two teeths.

Yep that was the third rider this year, and above that Robert Bergman got paralyzed at SM in Tibro...not a good year.
I have no clue whats the reason for all the accidents. My theory is that most of the times people are extremely lucky. I had some moments when I thought i wsa done midair, but lady luck always came and saved me (sometimes in quite bizarre ways)
I remember ones when i stalled the engine on take off from a big jump. I also hit a route so the bike turned 90 degress to the right. Midair when I'm screaming in panic ( i thought I was about to die) another rider collides with me and puts my bike in the right direction again. Since it was a twostroke it started right away when i landen and i got away somehow. It's more remarkable that I din't crasch and hurt myself than the other way around. Lately it seems that lady luck no longer works in our area. Maybe she took a year off? I guess we all have scary moments to tell, but most of us could walk away from them. 9 times out of 10 when someone brake their neck/ back they don't get paralyzed, but they might as well have been. The difference is often so small it all comes down to luck.

There are not more racers out there in Sweden right now, so that theory doesn't cut it. There are however heavier and stronger bikes out there, and they are driven by younger riders. A kid can go from 85cc to a 250f when he is 15yo he can earn an "elitlicens" at Sverigecupen pretty easily and then he is off to SM. Maybe they should earn more experience on a 125 before going 250f? I hate fourstrokes but I have no real proofs they are to blame. I guess I have to agree with Svemo on this one that there's no pattern to be seen as they are all just accidents.
