Swanepoel was third overall at Lierop in 07 behind Cairoli and Rattray.

exactly! gareths best moto finish was 2nd in holland. He finished 5th in the champs that year i think. His results were fairly inconsistent in gps- normally finishing 6th-10th in his best years, 10th-20th in other years (aswell as racing brit champs)

he's a decent bloke, really happy for him!

Agreed. Bar Chad Reed and Dean Wilson - there's almost no interview worth hearing on the AMA circuit. Refreshing to finally hear some honest comments from Gareth there.

Gareth was 2nd overall in Lierop 2007.
It was Valkenswaard that season where he got the third overall.
