Yeah, my second home. LOVE that track. Rick and his team do an outstanding job.

I'll have to swing by and put a face to the sarcasm. Wink
My son and I are there most Sundays, and frequently on Tuesdays too.

Right on Matt. Please do. I usually go ride on Saturdays and/or Sundays and I park by the starting gate. Stop by and say hi. You will feel famous for meeting one of the world's least known internet celebrities (me). Wink hahaha.

I won't be at the track for a while though, obviously. Sad

Is your son by any chance, the kid that Rick congratulated on his LL championship?

I was not sandbagging it. I used to be a novice dude but since I lost 300 pounds of solid blubber, my speed has increased a bit. They promoted me up to Int. I love racing with the Int guys but dang, EVERYONE is fast. haha

Here is my secret....and I am working on making up an infomercial for this technique in the near future.....it is called "The Suicidal Ideation Program". It's not as simple as it sounds but it works really, really well. The first step is to lose your job. That really gets the ball rolling on the process but don't expect the weight to come off right away. Next, you have to have your spouse abandon you and take your dog with her. Then, it is preferrable to have your truck break down and if you're lucky, to get some kind of super expensive and completely unexpected financial burden such as a medical problem or legal problems.

Once all this and maybe more happens to you, it will suddenly become a huge chore to pick up a fork and you will prefer to spend your days and nights crying in bed. This is the easiest and the last weight loss program you will ever try. It won't even feel like you're working on losing weight. If you're interested, I can sell you the Bullpen Suicidal Ideation Weight Loss Program DVD and training materials for five easy payments of only $1599.99. Included in the kit are a series of sad country music and David Gray CDs, a Beretta 9mm with blank ammunition for practicing suicide, and a box of tissues for all the tears you will surely shed.

You are virtually GUARANTEED to lose either all the weight you want or your mind. ACT NOW and you will also qualify for the limited time offer of a cell phone that does not work....absolutely FREE!!!!!

No, my boy's on an 85, the LL tyke is on 50's. Possibly in 2012 though...

It'll be another week before we're back out there again, he got his first ambulance ride Sunday 8/14 after endoing off a jump out there. Nothing broken, but a badly sprained wrist/hand/forearm, bruised pelvis, and bruised lower back have him out for a bit longer (wish I was 12 again- they'd have just buried me on the spot). We were hoping to have him race at Dodge next month, but it's looking a bit less likely now. Sad

Obviously, losing 300lbs was a bad idea: The solid blubber would have protected your ribs.
The wife taking the dog is harsh. That had to hurt.

Speaking of dogs...

Dang. Sorry to hear that. I was there that day and heard Rick announcing the situation. Wishing your son a fast and full recovery.
