Tall guy: Kawasaki KX450F or Yamaha YZ450F (2012)

I´m 6' 4" (193cm) and weigh 207lbs (94kg) and dreaming of a new bike for next season.
The new kawi has adjustable foot pegs and the handlebar is also adjustable.
The yamaha is bigger in seathight and the talk is that it suits bigger guys.
I can´t decide wich one!?

Both great bikes for taller guys!, IMO depends on price, dealership service etc. The yamaha is the same as the 2010, other than wheel color. the new kawy looks badass. But if you have a chance to go to a local track and ask real riders who actually pay for their stuff! You should be able to get a killer deal on a 11 leftover unless your set on a 12 model/ What area are you in?

I live i Sweden... yes i could save some money on a 11 yamaha and the new electric gadgets on the kawi is not necessary to me.

I would go with a kawy then, i think they still have rebates on them! Down at my local dealership,$6600 otd! Kawy 450., yzf s a little bit more.,both great bikes imo.

Did you decide on a bike yet? I'm the same size and wonder if the yamaha feels bigger. According to the bike specs the yz is longer and taller

Go with the 2012 kawi 450. I'm a 6'-2" 200lbs intermidiate mx rider and I love the bike. I have noticed that there are not many fans of the 2012 yamaha 450.

It's all based on what you like the kawi has a super strong motor, an a bigger feel so you'd probably feel more comfortable with it my dad had the yamaha, and he said if you like the old yamaha feel the new yamaha feel is dissapointing, I ride a kawi now I don't think i'll be changing bikes anytime soon! I love it and I'm 6'3" 240 pounds I'd never leave the kawi, awesome bike!
