Any of you guys, or girls, know of or race against this chick, Tami Rice? I never heard of her before but from what I have just read she was Mercedes Gonzalez' predecessor???

Haha I'm sending her that pic in that dress ack ! Mercedes worked for Jim Hale at AXO for awhile she was part of the, million dollar club I believe, she was one of his best sales-persons ! Mercedes married her best friend, fellow racer Derek Natvig they have 2 kids and live in Foothill Ranch. Mercedes has an amazing family loved all the time I was able to spend with them growing up.

She is such a cool chick, we did a Jimmy Weinert MX School down at Indian Dunes in '82 and she was helping him. Her and her sister ended up taking us to Magic Mountain, had a great time.

Mercedes Gonzalez was and still is AWESOME... I looked up to her so much back when we were racing together in the 80's & 90's. She's a great role model for the sport and a dear friend of mine. Bonnie Warch, who's in the photo with me, is also one of my very best friends,. One of whom helped me promote women's motocross racing back then and one of whom is to a role model for women racers today. Love you both.... BRAAAP... In the late 80's there were 2 U.S. riders who used to frequent Australia regularly for our SX races. The most notable was Fast Eddie Warren (who liked the place so much he moved here...) and this guy, "Flash" Gordon Ward who used to 'blow the minds' of Aussie spectators with insane jumps like this heel clicker Laughing Woohoo
