I was just thinking about it and could not think of anybody besides a PC team member ever winning a moto at Thunder Valley, and looking through the archives it looks like they are undefeated there as a team since the race came to Colorado.

2005: Tedesco 1-1

2006: Villopoto 1-1

2007: Townley 2-1
Villopoto 1-2

2008: Villopoto 1-1

2009: Weimer 2-1
Pourcel 1-6

2010: Pourcel 1-1

2011: Baggett 1-1

Looks like the team has something figured out about racing/ making power at altitude. Are there any other tracks that team PC (or any other) is undefeated at, at least in the last 7 years?

Yeah that team is on the rise for sure. They should be a dominate force for years to come and may actually win a few championships along the way.Wink

Afterwards, Blake Baggett said he feels like they have the best bikes, but that the altitude makes them feel slow.

Now picture if you're starting with something less than a full PC powerplant, and what that'd feel like?

I was thinking that riding a CRF150 would prepare you for the altitude in a way, makes you used to riding an underpowered bike.. You know?

I'm not sure how that'd work for anyone who rides anything but a Honda...

I appreciate the sarcasm, maybe I didn't get across what I was trying to. It's not like they win every race during the season every year. Are there any other tracks that they haven't lost a single moto at in the last 7 years?

.......and gives you beat up knees you know. That's probably one of the worst ideas I have ever heard. Maybe the guys on big bikes could practice on 350's?
