With Villopoto heading to the GPs, will he get to run #2 or will he have to take another number? 615, or maybe 102?

Considering #2 is his AMA career number I doubt it.

Since noone is running #2 in the GP's I think he can choose that. They dont have the point based system.

As I understand it, there's supposed to be a meeting in Mexico this weekend to finalize things.

He was 615 as an amateur and used 207 for his first 3 nationals as a pro.

I think Luongo would be smart to let him run the #2. Just the same as DC letting Cairoli run 222.

Highly unlikely, but in the back of my mind, I was thinking how awesome that would be.

This would be a good choice. He's so fast he needs three 1's.

Nagl was the last to run the 2,he changed to 12 so it looks to be vacant so I guess it's RV's. AC would be able to use a big number like 222 over there wouldn't he?

Number 2 is vacant, so pretty sure he will still be RV2...

Listened to Adam wheeler and Malin talking about Vanhorbeek being no2 next year, but it was already taken??!!

It would be cooler if he won it with a 3 digit number. Since Vital controls the moto world....I also vote that he should run 338.
