Press Release

Victory for Mike Kras in Orp Le Grand

Amsterdam - A
wet preparation last week where rain was the only thing sure in the
weather forecast. Riders and teams were afraid of the race to be
cancelled because of the insane rainfall in what would normally be
summer in Belgium. Weird but true, the track conditions were just
perfect! Beursfoon Suzuki send Mike Kras to represent the team in the
MX2 class and took the overall victory after his first heat win and
second place in the second heat.

Heat 1:

The enthusiastic Mike Kras started off his first heat in
sixth position. Immediately the pressure got set on the pace and moved
to a top-3 ranking in no time. His pace was visibly higher than the
other riders so it was just a matter of time for Mike to take the lead
and make a gap. Once this gap was built, he went into the next chapter
of controlling the lead towards a final heat win. He took the victory
with a 20 second lead in this first heat of the day.

Heat 2:

An enormous effort on the track of Orp Le Grand where Mike took the
immediate 3rd place. The good pace brought him into a second position
without pushing too hard. Having some reserves and already winning the
overall with his second place, Mike wanted to close the gap to the
leader. He almost completed his mission in the last lap of the race when
he closed the gap and almost made the pass. Unfortunately the move was
not successful so Mike finished in second position being only 0,01
seconds behind. He took the overall victory in Orp le Grand.
