TLD’s Seely Returns at Spring Creek With Noren Looking For Another Strong Finish

Corona, Calif. (July 15, 2015) – Troy Lee Designs riders Cole Seely and Fredrik Noren both took full advantage of the second break in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship schedule to relax and recuperate prior to the eighth round at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota.

For Seely, the extra weekend off was much needed as he continued to rehab a leg injury he sustained prior to the Budds Creek National. With recovery going well, Seely is set to return to action this weekend in Minnesota.

“It was a bummer to have to take off those two races, but I’m thankful we had that break to allow my leg some extra time to heal up,” said Seely. “I didn’t want to risk injuring it further, which is why we decided to sit out those rounds. Now I am feeling much better and ready to tackle those sand whoops.”

Noren comes off a career-best finish of seventh overall from the previous round at RedBud MX on the Fourth of July. The very next day, Noren and his now-wife Amy said ‘I do’ in Ohio and were able to use the off weekend to enjoy a “minimoon” before getting back to the grind. Noren looks to pick up where he left off when he lines up at the Spring Creek National.

“The past week and a half have been a whirlwind, but in the best possible way,” said Noren. “Now we get back to work and hopefully I can put up another great result for the team.”
