On the Box, LLC Signs Stewart and Villopoto

On the Box, LLC is proud to announce the signing of James Stewart, Jr. and Ryan Villopoto to a new Exclusive Licensing Agreement for the express purpose of marketing and distributing licensed products to the mass retail market only. Gaining the rights athletes is ground breaking news. It will provide a platform for the future development of the sport as well as make top quality products readily accessible to the numerous fans of motocross and supercross in their favorite retailer stores across the country.

James Stewart, Jr. was the 2002, 2003 and 2004 AMA National Lites Champion as well as the Rookie of the Year in 2002. He also won the 2003 and 2004 AMA SX Lites Championship as well as a member of the 2004, 2006 and 2008 Motocross of Nations winning Team USA. In the Premier Class he has been the 2006 and 2007 FIM World SX Champion as well as the 2008 AMA National Champion scoring only the third perfect season in the history of the sport. He went on to win his first AMA SX Championship in 2007 and followed that up with another AMA SX Championship in 2009, as well as a Silver Medalist in the “Best Whip” feature of the X GAMES. He currently riders the #7 Yamaha for L&M Racing and is considered by many to be the top Premier Class rider for the up and coming season.

Ryan Villopoto, the 2006, 2007 and 2008 AMA MX National Lites Champion, the 2007 AMA SX champion as well as the 2006 AMA SX and MX Rookie of the Year. In addition he was a member of both the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Motocross of Nations winning Team USA highlighted by his astounding overall victory in the Motocross of Nations in 2007 at Budd’s Creek in the first heat aboard a Kawasaki 250F. He will be competing in the Premier Class in the upcoming SX and MX aboard the #2 Factory Kawasaki Team after missing a portion of this year’s MX season due to injury. Ryan exhibits the current and future talent of the sports most elite riders and continues his quest for a championship in the Premier Class.

With this new venture, On the Box, LLC will position itself as the leading provider of all related licensed products to the mass retail market continuing to look at additional athletes to bring more unique and cutting edge graphics and products to this market. The scheduled roll out date for all of On the Box, LLC’s licensed products is early 2010. The goal of the company is to raise the level of awareness of these athletes in the mainstream markets, helping grow the sport, their clients professional persona’s as well as the business of the company.

On the Box, LLC is a new venture with the principle owners being Ronnie Tichenor and Chris Carnicella. The Company is a specialized licensing, marketing and distribution channels for many licensed products. Additional company information including select mass retailers and future clients will be made available as they develop.

Ronnie Tichenor is a former Super Cross Champion and had spent 11 years racing in the US and Japan for primarily the Suzuki Factory Team. Since his retirement from racing Ronnie has become one of the countries’s top riding instructors. His primary responsibility with this new venture is rider liaison and design and product development. His partner, Chris Carnicella, brings with him over 24 years in the licensing, marketing and manufacturing of numerous licensed products and branded products including all professional and college sports, NASCAR and individual projects with some of the county’s most famous athletes and professional teams. He has a full understanding of the “Action Sports” market and will be the acting LLC Manager with his primary responsibility being to oversee the manufacturing and placement of these products with select retailers in the mass retail market.
